The Jim Day VIP Suite was dedicated in October of 2004 as part of Upper Iowa's Homecoming Celebration. The suite and it's amenties were provided to the Athletics Department through a generous gift by Mr. Jim Day.
Day, a former member of the Upper Iowa University Board of Trustees and four-year letterwinner with the Peacock football program, is a member of the UIU Athletics Hall of Fame. Day also served as a Navy pilot during the Viet Nam Conflict.
The Peacock Club also made donations to the suite which features a conference table, a half kitchen and bar, a living room area, and an eight-seat viewing area that overlooks the action on Prochaska Court.
The suite is not only utlilized during games, but is also a meeting place for groups on campus and a visiting area for coaches, prospective student-athletes and their families.
